Membership
Why members pay
so much less.
A club works when the same members keep coming back. Ours has been held together, season after season, by the couples who booked their first week years ago and haven't missed a summer since.
How the maths works
Six things that hold
the club together.
- 01Every boat in the fleet is ours — never a broker's, never a lease.
- 02The fleet grows one hull at a time, each one chosen with care.
- 03Seasons open a year ahead, so every winter refit is planned, not scrambled.
- 04Skippers are on payroll year-round — they know the boats and the members.
- 05New members come by introduction. We do not run a sales team.
- 06The value we return to members grows the longer they stay. Most stay a long time.
72%
of members return the year after.
168
members on the roster.

How to join
The application,
in four short steps.
-
01
You write.
By the inquiry form on this site, or straight to the Secretary. A sentence or two about who you are and what draws you to it is enough.
-
02
We reply.
Personally, usually within a week. The Secretary asks a few things back — timing, coast, sailing experience, whether you'd like to speak by phone.
-
03
The Committee reviews.
New applications are reviewed quarterly. Most are accepted; the few that aren't get a straight answer, not a form email.
-
04
You join.
Membership is paid annually. Your first cabin is held from the moment the season is confirmed. From there, it's up to you how often you sail.
History
Eleven seasons,
the short version.
A short chronology, from the twelve founding members in 2015 to the roster we hold today. The turns that matter, in about a paragraph each.
-
2015
The club is founded around a pair of small classic sailboats in Palma. Twelve original members.
-
2018
First fortnight aboard the Flagship, chartered before we owned her. Half the founding members sail the trip.
-
2020
The club takes ownership of the Flagship after three seasons of chartering. A full winter refit follows.
-
2022
Second home port opened in Corfu; three small boats and one skipper move east for the season.
-
2026
168 members on the roster, hundreds of small boats across two coasts, one Flagship. Season eleven.
